Sloan Superstars !
The guys I'm going to highlight in red are the danger men, and our wild cards
B.Taylor, G.Cremer, C.Ervine, E.Chigumbura, C.Coventry, R.Chakabva, R.Price, P.Utsea, S.Mazakadza, Chris Mpofu, G.Lamb, S.Williams, T.Taibu, T.Panyngara, S.Ervine.
Taylor: is probably our most dangerous batter at the top. When the guy gets in, he tends to stay there. If he can get past 10 overs, he could be devastating and tear apart the other sides bowling attacks.
Coventry: it's been ages since his last ODI 50, yet......we still regard his as one of our most dangerous ODI batters. He has fast hands, and on the slower, lower wickets he could provide the fire power in the middle of the innings we've been.
Mazakadza jnr: pace, bounce, wicket taker. Enough said

Re: Zim's World Cup Squad - Announcement Tomorrow (Wed 12th)
It is worth remembering in reghard to coventry that when Zim toured west indies last he was left out of the first four ODI's in favour of Matsikenyeri, only in the 5th ODI when matsi was dropped coventry proved all the doubters wrong by scoring a 50 and left everybody wondering why he wasnt included in all the ODI's all along
Re: Zim's World Cup Squad - Announcement Tomorrow (Wed 12th)
My dream team for the world cup. Elton chingumbura, prosper utseya, Brendon taylor, G Ervine, S Ervine, R price, G cremaer, T Taibu, Mpofu, R Chakabva, S williams, T Mawoyo, T Panyangara, C Coventry and C Chibhabha.

Whatever team we choose will be no match for the powerful Kenyan side. I have been told by others on this forum that Kenya are just as good, if not better than Zimbabwe.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

One large order of ZING please!!
What would put kenya in front of us is if they drafted matsi!!
Id be surprised if we kept in vusi, duffin, tinashe, tino
Last spot for me is between rainsford and greg lamb. Two very different players but just my gut feel
