I've been remiss with this, not that there's much action to report on.

SF1: Mountaineers v Rhinos - match abandoned without play, Mountaineers progress to Sunday's final on league position.
SF2: Tuskers v Rocks - match abandoned without play, Tuskers progress to Sunday's final on league position.

So Sunday's final will be Mountaineers v Tuskers at Harare Sports Club, assuming the rain lets up. If play is washed out again, Mountaineers will claim the title, having finished top of the table.

Jah, its been a frusting weekend, but surely these days you can get weather forecasts weeks in advance, and with Harare showing overcasts skys for at least one full week an alternative arrangement could have been made - maybe Chiredzi? That part of the country didnt look cloud heavy from the focusts I saw on e-news. Anyway we have a World Cup going squad that have played zilch cricket for two weeks now!

News from ZC is that, with finals weekend having been completely washed out, the semi-finals and final will now be rescheduled to after the World Cup. Better than letting Mountaineers win by walkover. No dates confirmed yet.

Rescheduled dates for the semi-finals are in:

25th March: Mountaineers v Rhinos
26th March: Tuskers v Rocks

I'm assuming the final will be on the 27th. All at Harare Sports Club.

At full strength you cant beat the Mid west Rhinos on a good day...
Taylor, Ballance, Waller,Sibanda, cremer. good imports.

although the Tuskers have some devastating hitters should some of them get going with a good pace attack (by zim standards) to back them up.

Two early wickets and big scalps today for Shingi Masakadza. And Ian Nicholson. Is it just me or has anyone noticed a bias towards bowler friendly wickets these days?
