Quote from a Twitter contact who pointed the article out to me last night:
@zimcricket Christ it's a Roebuck article!!! *runs to bathroom* *washes hands, eyes, memory with toilet cleaner*
It does seem to be lacking in his usual, uhh, disdain for all things Zimbabwean. I'm figuring the real Peter Roebuck's been kidnapped and replaced by a pod person or something.

I can't think of anyone who's been more negative about Zimbabwean cricket over the past few years than Roebuck - even when things started to pick up, he was still chief cheerleader for the 'boycott Zimbabwe' mob (although I do recall one article where he finally started coming around to the idea of readmission, it was still a very begrudging piece).

And yet here we have an article that's actually positive. It can't be him, really. :)

(...and if you don't get the "pod person" part, then you need to find a copy of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers. :D )

It's an odd article...

Wow if the mpofu hardships are true

But all the references to Graeme are strange.....

I'm also not sure about the implication that graeme came from a rich well to do family.
Graeme Is one person in the team that definitely came from a rougher upbringing, I hit the impression author is contrasting the two, it's not a good pick. Drawled had it tough
