Quote from a Twitter contact who pointed the article out to me last night:
It does seem to be lacking in his usual, uhh, disdain for all things Zimbabwean. I'm figuring the real Peter Roebuck's been kidnapped and replaced by a pod person or something.@zimcricket Christ it's a Roebuck article!!! *runs to bathroom* *washes hands, eyes, memory with toilet cleaner*

Re: Article on Graeme Cremer and Christopher Mopfu
I can't think of anyone who's been more negative about Zimbabwean cricket over the past few years than Roebuck - even when things started to pick up, he was still chief cheerleader for the 'boycott Zimbabwe' mob (although I do recall one article where he finally started coming around to the idea of readmission, it was still a very begrudging piece).sloandog wrote:I don't follow..
And yet here we have an article that's actually positive. It can't be him, really.
(...and if you don't get the "pod person" part, then you need to find a copy of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers.

Re: Article on Graeme Cremer and Christopher Mopfu
It's an odd article...
Wow if the mpofu hardships are true
But all the references to Graeme are strange.....
I'm also not sure about the implication that graeme came from a rich well to do family.
Graeme Is one person in the team that definitely came from a rougher upbringing, I hit the impression author is contrasting the two, it's not a good pick. Drawled had it tough
