Countdown to Test cricket: Number four batsman

Re: Countdown to Test cricket: Number four batsman
I refuse to vote here simply because I don't think any of these guys are "number 4" material, but if I had Yo vote it would be the black smurf himself - taibu.
I really wanted williams in this spot.alas he is taken.
I'd put serious consideration to chihuaha chibhabha though because he IS talented when he shows up. And as an outsider...... Lamb. 4 suits his style.
nonetheless we must lure Compton to the team. There's a hole that needs to b plugged

My vote goes to Vusi. Go ahead Zimdoggy, put a tick next to Sibanda.....we need our smurf as security, and to bat at 6 with the tail (which includes Elton, seeing as he's not doing much better than Prosper&Cremer these days). Ervine can come in at 5.
So who's your 4 bayhaus? Tell me you're not the explanation for that 1 next to lamb!!bayhaus wrote:tibba 5 craig 6

ZIMDOGGY my patience has worn thin over your continued use of racially insensitive language when referring to black people, that includes your mocking use words like "bruva" and even Tony Soprano's "Mulinion" when referring to Brian Vittori and other little cracks you make such as suggesting that white cricketers are superior to black cricketers (See the post about Botswana cricket "Whites=great at cricket" or something along those lines). Cop the fuck on; we're not living in the 60s. It's people like you that almost make me glad for men like Mugabe. If this forum is for such as you then may the administrators say so and we black Zimbabweans will stay away from it, so as to not suffer such insults.ZIMDOGGY wrote:I refuse to vote here simply because I don't think any of these guys are "number 4" material, but if I had Yo vote it would be the black smurf himself - taibu.

Hmmm I think you need to go to the kitchen , make some tea, turn the tv on, put the feet up and just relax a bit.Maweni wrote:ZIMDOGGY my patience has worn thin over your continued use of racially insensitive language when referring to black people, that includes your mocking use words like "bruva" and even Tony Soprano's "Mulinion" when referring to Brian Vittori and other little cracks you make such as suggesting that white cricketers are superior to black cricketers (See the post about Botswana cricket "Whites=great at cricket" or something along those lines). Mulinion= that's Italian for black.... In response to a question "is Brian vitori black or Italian" .... U missed the subtlety there.
Botswana comment taken outta context
"bruva" - never been a racial insult.
Black smurf= well he ain't blue.
You may say I am living in the 60s, but so are those who are seeing the world in terms of black and white when no racism is present,
kinda like the militant black guy from balls of steel.
Anyhow thats the last I will speak of this matter,I'm not the type to pander to racial sensitivities, and vice versa when I'm the recipient....
Racism is only racism when there's malicious intent. Which there is none of. Brits tend to be sensitive with this stuff, but Aussies definitely aren't.
But you seem like a decent bloke and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on the Mugabe comment, let's hope you extend me the same!
Peace brother.
