I played cricket with Mutendera at U19 and to hear that he even was a selector is a joke - Not exactly a veteran of the game! No offence to him of course, but surely there were and are ore qualified selectors? And as for Givemore Makoni - no comment! No wonder Zim cricket is the way it is, I am so glad I left when I did. Campbell should also go...in fact the entire board should go...

I do understand his surprise at Mutendera, I was shocked honestly as for him he wasn't a special talent at all.

He continued with his cricket, rugby and athletics in Cape Town, playing cricket for, unbelievably, the university third team, although he says the three teams were of fairly similar standard. His highest score there was 95, but scored numerous fifties at an average of about 35.

Its just an appearance of an improvement. I think a person like Mutendera would be put there purely to be manipulated. So he would be so grateful to get the job that he would not question and sing the tune of the masters. I could be wrong, but I still feel he is too young to be a selector.

Glen barrett is suffering from bitter nonentity syndrome.
