we are in the bowling powerplay so all we need to do is put away the bad balls and we should get home ok. good oppotunity for all of us to have a good look at Mutizwa

I'm now convinced Vusi can play one day cricket! But it's a concern that for every good innings from Ervine & Taibu we get 6 or 7 disappointing ones. If Mutizwa can force himself in, then he can keep wicket in order to put Taibu under a bit more pressure. Ervine is talented but he needs a good domestic season to put his demons to bed.

All this talk about dropping Taibu is taking too far imo. Let's face it, he's probably the most consistent batter in our line up(it's arguable) and dropping him is suicide imo. He is human and he's going to fail, but in times of crisis he's the man to go out there and steady the ship. I don't think there is anyone in the current setup who can replace Taibu in the middle order and do a decent job like he does.
Vusi, Mawoyo, H.Masakadza, Taylor, Ervine, Williams, Mutumbami, S.Masakadza, Meth, Price, Jarvis

I think dropping your experinced man will not be of any help . On a bad day Taibu can grind in with some useful runs . Besides we also need his vocal and encouraging abilities .
