Re: You're favorite Zimbabwe Commentator
MIne is Neil Johnson as well. Although he disappoints me because he doesn't do Zim matches as often as he should. Followed by Nkala - he will mature into a fine commentator(if he doesn't seek to be too artificial like Mbangwa). Must learn to keep it simple and not try too hard to prove he knows the game and understands cricket-speak!
Outside of Zim - Robin Jackman, Boycott, Athers, Greig & Warne!

I only know one Jeremy Fredericks. The colored guy - Afrikaans commentor for Supersport. He's not too bad!zimfan1 wrote:The older generation of this forum will remembersloandog wrote:Who's he ?

Re: You're favorite Zimbabwe Commentator
Neil Johnson seems jovial and easy with himself. Pommie doesn't but he's my favourite anyway. He's played a fair bit of international cricket so I assume he knows the game pretty well. "he has his feet in a bucket" is quite nice but Pom will never be Boycott:
Boycott talking as Olonga running in for final ball of an ODI innings:
If he puts it short, it'll be hoiked for 6 ... he's put it short, it's hoiked for 6 - he has all the brains of a porkpie!!"

Neil Johnson for me.
I do like hearing Alistair Campbell commentating and criticising the players and questioning selections.
