Perhaps not this time, because he hasn't duplicated anything!
Lovely little boy, just 9 years old. Pretty sharp & confident judging from his responses(....is it normal for young white kids to call your 'elders' by their first name?). I know so many white families and business men/women who left Zim to go to Aus/NZ during the Zim upheavels! In another ten years, we shouldn't be surprised to see a whole new generation turning out for the All Blacks/Black caps or Wallabies/?(kangaroos/crickeroos/baggy greens) de Grandhomme&Pocock werent exatcly born there neither did they arrive there before 3 years old!
Anyway, my hope is for things to get better in Zim. That way instead of dreaming of playing for other kids' countries, they'll long to don the colours of their descent instead! The instabiity, insecurity, hardships & racial disharmony permeating Zim society is very disheartening! For the good of a lot of people, Zim MUST improve.

And what's worse for us is that my cricket abilities are not good enough to even break into the Southern Rocks side.

For my part, I was forced to show respect to my 'elders' at school ... "sir", "ma'am", doff the cap, stand up if they drove past/entered a room... they rarely deserved it. After school I hope I never actually disrespected anyone - but the respect mete out through obligatory social norms...que carai!!
