3 options! That's generous - can anyone vote beyond Regis&Shingi? Might as well throw in Cremer - which is what I did!
Knowing the voting patterns of some, on second thoughts, I'm removing my third vote - Cremer. It would be shocking if he steals it ahead of Regis!

"Up to 3" - you don't have to use all three votes, you can vote for just 1 or 2 if you wish. Would actually weight your votes slightly more strongly if you did.

Re: [Player of the Year] New Zealand v Zimbabwe - Test Match
I voted for just two maehara, not that it would've helped - clearly! Regis is automatic, but here I was worrying about Cremer nipping 2nd from Shingi, Jarvis is second!
Jarvis ahead of Shingi - unbelievable! At least go for Cremer, his two wickets would've provided a better excuse! Not until the 58th over to figure out what to do with the new ball, got the bulk of the overs when Shingi would've done more with them, and 4 votes! And even if we're simply talking aesthetics, no other bowler's single spell came close to his first7-21/0, up to the end of his second12-44/1, pluys a couple more!

Cremer Ov21 Mdn2 Wk2 Ave56 Eco5.09(5-278Vettori, 7-446Southee)
Vitori Ov25 Mdn3 Wk1 Ave94 Eco3.76(6-392Bracewell)
Shingi Ov23 Mdn2 Wk1 Ave102 Eco4.43(1-124Guptil)
Jarvis Ov32 Mdn7 Wk1 Ave120 Eco3.67(3-195McCullum)
Some of you guys' opinions are just downright suspicious, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Report wrote:Swing was neither prodigious, nor the pace unsettling from Jarvis and new-ball partner Brian Vitori, who at times went searching for ambitious outswing on leg-stump only to be picked through the on-side methodically by Guptill in particular. Debutant Shingi Masakadza's introduction into the attack helped haul in a New Zealand run rate that at times touched 5.5 runs an over, as Masakadza persevered outside off stump, nibbling the odd delivery away from the right-handers.
Ross Taylor wrote:Vettori's quick 46-ball 38 "took the game away from Zimbabwe," according to Taylor. Still, he did not believe Zimbabwe bowled badly and said New Zealand could do worse than follow Shingi Masakadza's strategy of bowling on the McLean Park pitch. "He was the most consistent bowler out of their line-up. He bowled the right length on that wicket. If we can follow his lead, but just bring the line in closer to off stump or fourth stump, that will be the way to go."

Free vote. You're entitled to vote according to your opinions, other people are equally entitled to vote according to theirs. You really need to learn to accept that the two will not always coincide.hhm wrote:Some of you guys' opinions are just downright suspicious, you should be ashamed of yourselves!!

I think someone needs to find a life outside of ZCF and trying to destroy Kyle Jarvis.

Nothing to do with seeking to destroy Jarvis eugene, nor failure to accept other people's opinions maehara. The mass vilification at even my most harmless & mildest opinions disproves. This is about a minor thing, yet sums up the gross bias active sections of this forum represent!
If Jarvis finishes above Shingi in this poll, in protest, I will boycott this forum indefinitely! Most of you will be delighted actually. How can Regis have 11 votes, and not even an accompanying 7 out of that eleven felt Shingi was a worthy second pick, but Jarvis finds himself ahead and Cremer just behind! Even Hami must be looking at this and wondering how on earth these two got ahead of his brother, and possibly himself!

I only voted for Chakabva, he's the only one who deserved it.
After reading this thread, I've now voted for Jarvis as well

Cremer has probably been short changed with 2 votes since he took two wickets and scored half as many as Regis.

To be fair, almost everyone is overchanged, and should receive negative scores...Jemisi wrote:Cremer has probably been short changed with 2 votes since he took two wickets and scored half as many as Regis.
