cricinfo say that 'The broadcast has been interupted due to a power failure at the venue'

Could be back up and running within the next month or two then :?

I have been saying these days that Masakadza has transformed himself into the Alistair Campbell mould. Throwing his wicket away when very well set and looking good for a 3 figure score. He is currently by far our best batsman, and over the last year, has transformed himself into poor man's Virender Sehwag. But just a little more careful approach can make him a real match winner. Please HM, please. You can win matches on your own...

And, by the way, for Taibu, the reverse sweep and the conventional sweep shots have become an obsession. He might feel that he is a revelation and is the first in the world to have found a way to tackle Murali and Mendis successfully; but the truth is, he is limiting his ability by only playing those two shots. He might have thought that playing cheeky shots is the order of the day, but it has reached atrocious levels now. A classic example was today, where he again tried to be too cheeky for anyone's liking, very early in his innings. How can you guide a fast bowler towards third man, when you have slips in place? Serious waste of talent. Wake up, Taibu, before you become another Matsikanyeri :!:

The latest news from cricinfo is that the broadcast has not been restored, but news is in that Zim have been dismissed for 146 with Ajantha Mendis taking 6-29.

I hope that SL are taking great pride in trying to humiliate the Zim players as much as possible .....

2.1 Rainsford to Udawatte, no run, dropped by Taibu, that was short of a good length outside off, leaving the batsman at the last moment, Udawatte prods at it, gets the outside edge, and Taibu drops a sitter behind the wicket. :?

2.5 Rainsford to Udawatte, no run, dropped, that was bowled on a good length on leg stump, Udawatte tries to work it away towards fine leg, two sounds there, gets an inside edge onto his thigh pads and Taibu dives to his right but fails to hold on. :o

Zim finishing with 146 from 46.3 overs, Dabengwa top scorer with 32, Mendis 9-0-29-6.

Good gracious :o

I've just got off the phone and the score has gone from 20 odd for none to 51-3 :D

I believe that was ODI wicket number 50 for Utseya, Mupariwa must be within 2 or 3 now as well.

Big effort now before Sangakkara settles in and wins the game .

58-4 :D

Sounds like a brilliant catch by Chamu Chibhabha, full stretch at point.

ODI wicket number 48 for Tawanda Mupariwa who now has 5-0-18-3.

Shame it wasn't Sangakkara though .....
