Sydney Murombo looked good in the T20's last season and has had a good start this season too.

Kuda Macheka - 0 wickets
Tashinga Musekiwa - 160 runs at 22.85 and 1 wicket at 144.00 ( )
Alvin Chiradza - 168 runs at 21.00
Johnathan Campbell - 286 runs at 35.75 and 12 wickets at 25.83
Talent Dzikiti - 11 wickets at 32.00
Tanunurwa Makoni - 193 runs at 27.57
Takudzwa Chataira - 5 wickets at 23.60
Sydney Murombo - 11 wickets at 17.36

Regional Series:

Tashinga Musekiwa - 4 & 43. 3-42 & 0-52.
Johnathan Campbell - --, 36, 46. 0-16, 0-13, 1-31.

Johnathan Campbell might get a place in the side soon. N Mpofu has got some runs lately too, but I don't know if he is actually good.

I watched him in the regional matches, looked pretty compact and also seems to have followers Dave’s instructions about playing straight as he picked up lots of runs ‘in the V’

His bowling is also a plus it seems, although domestic Zim players are awful at playing spin so it’s hard to know how good he is. But at the age of 32 I think he hasn’t quite done enough to earn a debut.

I can't recall ever seeing Niko bowl before in all the years he's been around. He's 32 and has been an opening bat who doesn't bowl. Ordinary stats throughout his career.

But 4 centuries in 10 matches this season, plus 18 wickets with his newfound bowling ability, can't argue with that! Good luck to him, thats pretty good.

I read that and did a double take. I've been following a little less closely but I was like when did I miss that many hundreds?

It sounds like Brian Bennett might play a bit of Logan Cup this year.

I believe he had a trial with Mountaineers last weekend. Let’s hope they’ve taken him on.
