Great partnership from Nick and Craig. 200 odd and against some really tight bowling.
Interesting stat from NW. His first FC game was 2013 aged 15, second first class game 9 years later aged only 24/25.
Don't see that too often. Wasted decade.

It's a good watch - two guys batting who are going to be a big part of Zimbabwe's future.
Is there any new prospect of Welch playing for Zim?
No, I was referring to Marumani and Evans in that post.

You’d think if this Morris fella was any good he’d be playing in South Africa right? It’s right in the middle of their domestic season.

Rocks v Tuskers game is going be a good finish, shame it’s not streamed.

On paper Tuskers should get the remaining 4 wickets, but their bowling attack is pretty weak and Mashinge has shown decent signs with the bat recently.

Tsiga is hit and miss but he is more than capable.

It’s only 123 runs. First 10/15 overs will decide the game.

5fer for young leggie Chesa deserves a shout too.
Ended up finishing with 11 very good indeed

From what I remember of seeing him, his action has major issues I regard to his left arm not doing anything. Maybe he’s changed it slightly ?

Chesa's 11 wickets puts him in elite company in Zimbabwean FC statistics for leg spinners only.
Cremer took 12-203 for MW Rhinos against the Eagles in 2010 LC. (the best match figures for a Zimbo leggie).
Adam Huckle took 11-255 in a test against NZ in 1997 (still the best match bowling figures for Zim)
Paul Strang took 11 wickets for Kent in English County cricket in 1997.
I believe these are the best performances by Zimbabwe's leggies.

Didn't former U19 skipper Dylon Higgins also claim 11 - in his debut FC match?

Dylan Higgins was a huge loss. He was an excellent bowler and could bat.

This Eagles Rhinos game is going to have an interesting conclusion. Rhinos trail by 80 and they're two down.
Carlson and Burl at the crease and they're key to Rhinos survival. Did anyone see Carlson and Chivanga actually butting chests? It's not allowed obviously but it shows this game is being played with real intensity. Well not chests as there's a 3 ft height difference .

Great innings from Evans. He's really come on as a batsman. How many high 80's and 90's have we seen? Guys just struggle to get across the line here.

If Rhinos could get a 150-200 run lead Eagles would have an uncomfortable last session because this pitch is about to become very bowler friendly.

If Raza and Chibhaba were available you'd probably have Madhevere at 7, Marumani at 8 and Evans at 9. That's a serious batting line up.

Unbelievable innings from Kamunukamwe to set this game up. Better than a run a ball 99. Really stupid shot to play preventing a well deserved 100. Hardly played a false shot until then and absolutely destroyed the bowling.

This Aussie ball they're using is a batter's dream. Doesn't do much at all.

Yes, 100% correct! I forgot about him being a leggie.

Add Blessing and Ngarava here and I think the standard is OK.

Williams comes back and just dominates with bat and ball. Serious player.
