Sorry yea it was indeed him!
Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
I guessed Wisdom Siziba before doing some research which confirmed it. Australia have only toured Zimbabwe twice and have only played a couple of tour matches on those tours. The batsman is Simon Katich I think.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

The gentleman in question has not played any international cricket against Zimbabwe, but played for a while professionally in Zimbabwe.

One more clue: This should be easy for Zimbos_05 ... or, given his age, rather one of his uncles.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Apr 08, 2020 1:21 amThat was pretty obvious with those green streaks on his jumperforeignfield wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 2:21 pmNo, but the nationality is correctCrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Tue Apr 07, 2020 1:59 pm

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
Well, let me try to describe our man as close as possible without giving away his full identity:
A prolific player at FC level, he never fulfilled his potential in Test cricket--although he held (according to an article from 2003; and I believe the record still stands) a peculiar record in Test cricket. Circumstances around that record were instrumental in bringing him to Zimbabwe, or to be more precise, Rhodesia.

I'll say Younis Ahmed.
A real journeyman who played for Surrey & South Australia & toured South Africa with a D. H . Robins side in the seventies. His test record is either the greatest gap in years between test appearances or the highest number of tests between appearances.
