Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
That's right CrimsonAvenger, it is indeed Taibu, Taylor and Nasir Jamshed. Probably shouldn't have included the clues, I made it too easy
Detective RDS also got it correct (but quickly edit Taibu's team )

I hv got some information abt the first headstrike of Mark Vermeulen in which Travis Friend was responsible for.

Zimbabwe opening batsman Mark Vermeulen suffered a hairline fracture to his skull while batting in the nets today. Vermeulen was struck by a ball from Travis Friend which reared sharply off the pitch as Zimbabwe prepared for tomorrow’s World Cup Super Sixes match against New Zealand.

Ah ha! Thats our Hayden! Thanks Venky for making me nostalgic. This photo seems to be from Sportstar. Very well remember, in those times of less information, i eagerly waited for its latest edition.
It's David Hayden Brain who bowled the first ever ball in the first ever Official ODI played on Zim soil. He also joined the selected list of bowlers in ODI who took wicket in their first ever over.(Jadeja on 2nd ball)

It is of course David Brain. But when did you change it from Lock to Brain?

Re: Zimbabwe Cricket Photo Quiz
He he. I was little bit confused between Lock and Brain but very well remember the first over where he took Ajay's wkt. Moreover the stupid commentary where they were enjoying the name 'Brain' was also vivid.
I scratched my brain bit more n was convinced that this Zimbabwean Bruce Reid is Brain indeed.
By the way i still have Sportstar's from 1992 onwards-my main source of Zim news that time.
