396. As we come close to the Lara number, here's something that has significance today. Who goes first?

Relate him to Zimbabwe Cricket.

I have no idea who that is, but I just saw that Colin Bland, the man who turned fielding into a form of art, is 76 today. Happy Birthday!

On second thoughts, that looks like the renowned Iraqi allrounder Saddam Hussein who once hit his great pal Robert Mugabe for six in a double wicket entrende in Saddam City. :o

Ian Botham once said the Zim cricket team should be banned because "Mugabe is worse than Saddam", but I guess that's not what you are looking for.

Yes, I latched onto this question as soon as I saw Maxwell Chifamba making his List A debut today, over 4 years after his FC debut. He was also mysteriously included in that squad of 30 that was announced to take on Aus A and SA A sides in 2011, before we made our way back into the test arena, but was since missing in the Franchise cricketing scene.

Back with a bang, andrewn9!

397. This man's father moved to Zimbabwe. This man (in picture) played Rugby for Rhodesia. His son played FC cricket in Zimbabwe and having played with and against some of the biggest cricket stars of his time, was looking forwards for big things himself - but faded away just like many others of his time.

Which family are we referring to?

Any attempt folks? This Tony Grieg lookalike is currently in South Africa, while there is no news of any cricketing progress of his talented son. A talent lost to cricket for sure.

Yes, Hilton Haakonsen played rugby while his son Gregg played for CFX Academy. The family is of Norwegian origin. Here's his biography from Cricinfo: http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/story/84202.html

Gregg Haakonsen had played alongside Boucher, Dippenaar and against the likes Abdur Razzaq and Shahid Afridi.
