Zimbabwe 51/8 (30.4 ov)

60's looking like a good score at the moment.

We launched a famous one day international win against West Indies on the first series match, now we get bowled out for 89 by a "Select" side? Though we not the only team with an embarassing score today, England totally sucked against Sri Lanka. I hope Zim improves and corrects their mistakes.

Must be the pitch.
Looks that way. 40/3 now - although that's still a hell of a lot better than 9/3...

Don't think it could get much worse... Unless Zim can find a way to make Composite collapse in much the same way, though, the damage has probably been done - even with a good 2nd innings in the 200-300 range, they'll have a hard time salvaging anything after a 1st innings 89.

If there's a good thing that can come out of this, it's a wakeup for those who would like to put quotas on the selection. Not that I have any faith that will happen...

Agreed (to both sentences).
