I don't feel Price was ever quite given a fair crack at Worcestershire. He played regularly, and with decent success in OD cricket, but he was behind Gareth Batty in the pecking order. Batty is more of an allround cricketer, averages around 30 with the bat, fields well, and has played test cricket for England as an off-spinner. He was also established in the Worcestershire side, and never had a pronlonged slump in form that would have given Price the opportunity to usurp him as the no. 1 spinner there. I do remember Price bowling Mike Hussey with a fantastic delivery in a county cup final a few years ago...

So lads, are we taking this ODI Cup home? I am very optmistic with a solid batting perfomance, top order getting fair and high averages we can thrash them. Rainsford should continue from where he left of.

This must be a very bowler friendly pitch. 150 would be a good score.
