Hi guys

I apologise for mentioning what is probably well known by yourselves, but please don't even look at the threads which have appeared after the 5th ODI thread.

We had a number of these appear on both the Sussex and Warwickshire sites during last season which caused big time problems to the sites.

Please don't touch them at all, let BRM & Maehara get rid of them before they potentially cause chaos here.

We had a day or two of having loads of 'new members' joining and putting porn videos on the Sussex site.

No doubt the same will happen here for a short while until they get bored and go somewhere else.

This really doesnt fair.Those kinds of people shouldnt enter here and do such sick things!This is a forum of civilized people.

If anyone sees a suspicious user, please post in this thread. Normally a sign that a user is "dodgy" or unacceptable is a strange location (like "Tunisia" or "Papua New Guinea"), a strange username that is sometimes Russian sounding, and their profile normally has interests/age/occupation/website fields all filled in. Don't click any websites they (spam bots, as they are automated computers that post spam on forums) post, as the content will not be very nice and it certainly won't be about cricket.


EDIT: a typical spam bot profile will look like this, strangely this one doesn't have the website field filled out though. Check out the stupid username as well:

I noticed that there were a couple of odd users registered online when I logged in. They quickly signed off though.

Looks as though we have another idiot this evening, although i suppose it's always possible we have a Russian speaking cricket lover from Malawi who wants to join the board
