Unless these things are running off generators when they finally throw that switch we will get a nationwide power cut that could take a year to fix
The biggest single power drain experienced on our national grid since the Zisco furnaces got broken in 1987

Googly works in mysterious ways. There are days when there are long posts that have a zillion words in them and cover all the Zim and Rhodesian cricket history and more in each of them, and there are days when there are a gazillion posts (like this onslaught above) of two sentences each. You never know which Googly strikes on any particular day...

At least I don't repeat myself
Actually I do.
It's actually extreme frustration because we all want it to go swimmingly and just knowing how it rolls here.

I enjoyed during the SA20 some of the drone/blimp shots over the ground during matches where the floodlights were blaring, but the rest of the cities were in complete darkness

They've spent a lot of money on this for sure. All those singers and all, The players they've attracted are good. Hope it comes off as a success.

I don't have subscription to Sports 18 channel though, will see if I can subscribe just for a month.
If you're a JIO sim user you can watch T10 tournament in JIO TV for free.

At least our government is not tinkering around with a nuclear power station  Koeberg has Chernobyl written all over it.
They've all long given up any pretence of making things work, it's just a free for all.
A prerequisite of allowing the Chinese to pillage is that they should have to run everything.

Several thousand people in attendance for the opening ceremony. Whilst the majority most probably are not there for the cricket, surely a fair handful are and must be quite disappointed. It has hardly been advertised at all that the game was cancelled.

Huge crowd in attendance though for the music and entertainment. Hopefully can convert a few to cricket fans whilst they are at it
