Plays of the year

Post by brmtaylor.com admin »

What do you think the top moments in Zimbabwe cricket were this year? Let's see if we can list a few good moments.

Off the top of my head:
  • Brendan Taylor's 60* in the Twenty20 win over Australia
  • The opening bowling of Gary Brent and Elton Chigumbura in the Twenty20 win over Australia
  • Prosper Utseya's 115* against SAC XI
  • Justice Chibhabha's maiden century against Sri Lanka A
  • Tatenda Taibu's 107 against South Africa
  • The ODI win against West Indies
  • Sean Williams 129 in the Logan Cup
If you have any, please post them :D

Couple more strike my mind...

Sean Williams' All-round effort against the West Indies in CWC 2007, where he won Man of the Match, even though Zim lost the match.
Russel Tiffin completing 100 ODIs.

I shall take Brendan Taylor 's powerful 60 against Australia in the Twenty20 World Cup 2007. It was so good that even "Anti-Zim" folks applauded that play by Brendan and agreed Zim was the best team that day.
