I see the global qualifier includes Ireland, Sri Lanka and Thailand. And then the likes of UAE and Scotland as well who I assume are decent.

The little I know about Women's cricket, no doubt Ireland and Sri Lanka are favts to make it to the WC but I feel Zimbabwe will pose the biggest threat to them followed by Thailand.

Zimbabwe-W do have a chance and the fact that they are not expected to go through may work in their favor. Once the pressure is off (like it was when Zimbabwe Men's team qualified for T20WC last yr and then went on to reach the 2nd round) you can do wonders.
