Kamunhukamwe has replaced Ervine in the T20 squad.
Happy with this. Ervine importance lies in the one day and test arena.

K long will hopefully come good.

Doesn't get more ridiculous than that.

Left arm orthodox ndlovu bowling at nick welch pitches outside off and straightening at best and umpire sticks him. There on camera to show what poor umpires we have in general. That was embarrassing.

I watched that 3 times just to be certain. It pitched outside off, about 6th stump and straightened.
There's only two possibilities- either the ump thinks if you pad any ball away you're out or he's intent on messing shit up.

Faraz Akram got a very poor one yesterday.

Mamoon bowling round the wicket to the lefty, looked to be heading a long way down leg.

Just looked up his 50 over scores, he went 52, 36 and 59 and didn't get picked again for the 50 over stuff. The national guys came back and it's a tough side to get into.
Gets 90 on fc debut today as a sub.
That's all as an opener, not down the order. Here's the thing- if they don't think he's good enough then bat him at 6,7 or 8 to make up the numbers. If they're opening with him then they do think he's good enough or watching him fail ticks the "well we gave him a shot" box, if that's the logic behind it. It doesn't stand up under even the idlest scrutiny.

There's seniority there, which is good if applied evenly  but if ZC are looking for guys in general with ability, and openers in particular, then look no further. You'd be correct in wondering what's going on, a few of us are.

These livestreams would be of great benefit if there was a chief ump reviewing decisions to improve our absolutely woeful umpiring. There are mistakes and then there's blatant stuff that needs censure. That decision of NW's was no mistake.

Such a shame that this stuff goes on, everyone should be on a level playing field.
