This feels like the final nail in Dave's coffin.

Well our last hope is yet another Burl-Clive rebuild job.
Should have just played then higher up the order and saved themselves the pressure of rebuilding the innings.

Surely a batsman would play better coming in at No.3 knowing you’ve got guys coming in after you who can do the job if you fail.

Now they’ve got the pressure of knowing if they get out then it’s up to the bowlers. I just don’t get the logic of hiding guys done the order in a t20 game.

I'm sure we will see rotation of Munyonga, Madhevere, KLong, Maru, maybe Shumba, Bennett, Kaia for the foreseeable future.

But then whats the alternative? If you put these guys up the order and they have a bad day, you are really in trouble then with nobody to save the innings. It's why the Raza opening experiment was great on paper but in reality if he got a first baller or something we'd be totally in the shit.

Unfortunately we have to pick conservative lineups because we are bereft of quality and depth. It's the reality.

Dave has his favourites for sure. He's very loyal. He loves Wellington and Jongwe in particular.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. They are decent players, despite the abuse they get on here.

Disagree , Bennett will grow from that innings at 3 .Both Burl and Madande bat well in the middle order

I doubt.

Hes actually got an excuse. The injuries and Raza's absence may save him.
