I can’t stand this Irish team, not one single player.

Tbh, I can’t ever recall liking any Irish cricketer.

Rats. Not going to get to 140. The ODI series is going to be far more painful.
Really? We are far better in that format. We are a terrible T20 side.

I'm just saying he's not a top 4 bat.
For sure he needed to go for that. Late on it.
I'm not gunning him, he's good where he is, his role has been to rebuild our shit starts, he does that well.

In T20? I disagree. If you are batting down the order you have to be able to go big and finish. He can't. He's more of a top 4 than a down the order kind of guy for me. He struggles to go aerial. Got a beautiful cover drive and can knock it around and accumulate better than some of our guys.

I want guys like Raza and Burl at 5/6/7 ideally to finish things off.

There is just no stability in this side. Players always out injured and fear of getting dropped for a poor performance isn't the recipe for success

The problem is that not many players in this team today are genuine t20 players it's that simple

Well they're going to try him soon enough so we will see. He's never batted up the order. In the absence of Ervine, Williams and Raza they will most certainly try it

I think we have to accept that it's a long rebuilding process ahead of us. Probably need to keep 2027 in mind and build towards that, we have 4 years. Need to be patient and see where we can go from here.

Only Welch, Kai and KLong have had to worry. The rest are there until Zimbabwe gets rain.
