Something very drastic needs to happen with our batting very quickly. Along the lines of significant investment in specialist or consultant batting coaches, bowling machines or something else. I don’t know.

But some of these guys really are the best players in the country and yet when they pull on a national jersey they don’t appear to know how to hold a bat suddenly.

Yeah right Tej. If they get to 200 , I think there can be a chance to get some early wickets and get in the game. I would have liked 225 but that's not happening.

Reduced overs will work in our favour though . We would have anyway not played entire quota and would have made the same score . Atleast Ireland will now have 10 less overs to chase similar score
