ZC, 1 step Forward 2 steps Back

Having watched Zimbabwe Cricket deteriorate at the dawn of the century and only in the last few years slowly make steps in the right direction, it is disheartening to see them suffer from the same mistakes again.
The latest ploy of removing the specialist coaches from the tour looks like an attempt to secure Mongongo as future head coach. This will be a massive step in the wrong direction. It is clear from all the threads that Mongongo has an agenda against white cricketers, and if anyone thinks thats the future of Zimbabwe cricket is more promising with no white cricketers and cricket lovers involved, they are not just racist but also incredibly naive.
Perhaps not taking the the specialist coaches may in fact be due to a lack of funds, but what sort of message is this sending to future sponsors of Zimbabwe Cricket?
Those in charge of the finances need to realise that sponsored money is meant to benefit the cricketers and not to fund the desk sitters in the over populated and under achieving offices at Harare Sports Club.
ZC officials need to have a serious look at where Zimbabwe cricket is going and try to avoid similar mistakes from the hollowing past!
