Well it will be interesting if and when Brad E returns.
Plus the perennial ZC favorite Luke.
Youd have to think Evans, if he prepares well and is playing well is the better player, but one shit game and they'll swap him out.

I don't understand Ngarava bowling round the wicket. Also his pace dropped off a lot, but for sure he's a match winner for us.
Well if Akram is near enough he will get it, since his selection means $$$ for ZC.
Brad should get it due ti bowling skill but why has he been injured so long? Feels like 12 months.

Like only has himself to blame for being unfit and unprofessional. I reckon he was who TM had in mind when he went on the unprofessional rant.
If he was fitter he would have a bit more zip to his bowling.

Luke’s batting is overrated though.
He never has his eye in or seeing it as you’d expect a batsman would.
Think through a non Zimbabwe lens. He’s a number 10 batsman for Sri Lanka and a competent number 11 if this was Australia.
So what if he gets the odd 30 and odd awkward six.
Look what Lyon and Cummins did in the first ashes test for example. Luke can’t do that shit.

We should not hope a win from this Zimbabwe cricket team of looser.

I guess they forget how to win....

Deserving the status of not qualifying for the big ICC tournaments.

Wastage of time ...

They should stop playing cricket

Better alternative could be for you to stop watching them mate. Don't waste your time if you don't like them.

How on earth we are able to compete with Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka is a real mystery. Sri Lanka beat us everyday of the week in a pressure game but with no pressure on they seem to always do ok in Sri Lanka

Akram is not quick enough to be playing at this level.

Go get some pussy or somethifn and work on fixing yourself than being a bored cunt. I wouldn’t bother signing up to a small Indian cricket fan site I didn’t like. Just a waste of your youth. You only have one life in this world.

My thoughts.
The big difference between us and them today was the tail. Our tail possesses no fight at all, and it must be addressed. The old Zimbabwe always had a great lower order.

Akram was tidy but we can’t keep him on if he’s bowling 115 and not contributing with the bat. He won’t get wickets. It’s like picking Hamilton masakadza or Chibhabha for they bowling.

Mufudza wont be getting wickets at this level. Don’t know why people disagree with me that Williams and Raza are our two best spin options.

Blessing needs to fix all these no balls he is getting called for nowadays.

Raza is still an associate basher in my mind. He’s always been capable with test teams but he’s also always been inconsistent. He’s the same player he alway was. He has just been doing what we are meant to be doing. Disrespecting associates.

Ervine still has it.

Richard Ngarava was excellent. We need to start considering him for our ‘best of all time’ teams. This is a test nation he single handedly slayed, and at a good pace too.
Agree with a lot of this.

You are right, once decent opposition have their eye in against Akram it won't be pretty. Though, give credit where credit is due, he bowled pretty well for the most part, but with a full strength Zim line up he isn't making the touring party.

Feel it's a little harsh on Mufudza, tight bowling often leads to wickets and, at the very least, an anchor at one end means your strike bowlers often benefit.

Great to see Ervine build a classic ODI innings, was unlucky to be dismissed by a stunning catch.

Richie, as Tino said, is the standout Zim bowler of the last 18 months - how far has he come from being pummeled by Scotland!

I think Mavuta's absence, or even Williams's left arm spin, was definitely missed. Really do feel Burl should focus on his batting. That top of off stump length seems to cause him issues, definitely saw him get beaten in the Irish series in a similar way to how he got out today.

All in all a decent performance and showed Zim still deserve to play the top 10 teams.

Watched the highlights as have been working

Ervine and ngarava are two zimbabwe greats.

Gumbie with those ramp shots is so good to watch.

Burl looked good for a short time batting at least.
