Campbell loves batting against the Rhinos. Think Kaia may be in Australia but not one hundred percent sure.

His name is the other way around btw.

He is the son of Abid Hamid, who passed away whilst Ali was still in primary school and was a great, great man. A stalwart of the game here who did just about every single behind the scenes role at some stage - administrator, groundsman, scorer, umpire, match referee, team manager, logistics guy, fixture secretary, OH cricket section captain, kids tournament organiser, school coach. All as a total volunteer. Taken way too young, but perhaps fittingly his last day on Earth was spent captaining (as a 50 year old!) OH 2nds to a victory over rivals Alex.

Ali was never involved in any Zim age group stuff as far as I remember, and was schooled mostly in SA, so has been off the radar of most.

I'm sure his father is looking down on him very proud at the moment!

The Durham squad will be based in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe and will spend three weeks in Harare compromising of red & white ball matches plus warm weather training.

The squad will fly out on Monday 19 February, playing in two three-day warm up fixtures before competing in the Zimbabwe domestic T20 tournament.
