Not that you need proof that selections are done blind in the boardroom.

That is really poor to be fair. The bennets and Campbell of the world need 50s to keep their place while a young up and coming player like Welxh gets dropped after an average game.
Makoni comes in who has done nothing apart from one century in about 12 innings this season. Mpofu keeps his place 🤨🤨.
Should have stuck with madande also

No accountability and no future, any wonder players get disillusioned and walk away from the game.

I thought he played well to be fair. No score to show for it, but looked totally at ease.
The option is to put him at 5-7 so he can double or triple the number of runs he makes or keep grooming him as an opener because last time I checked we needed openers.

They should try all the centurions and double centurions in the opening slot because clearly it's just a spot and they should make even more runs because by that maths they've got longer to bat.

Another 10k to hire a waterlogged Takashinga ground.

They could hire Wingate for 10k, get a game in and the owners would use the money to make it a a great and much needed venue for club cricket.

As I said, we're loaded with centurions at 4-7. Let's see if he can peel off a hundred as an opener.
At this rate we're going to have 17 people vying for number 6 spot.
