No changes to the team. Nigeria won the toss and will bat first.

Could have given Nick Welch a chance.

Nigeria 33/3. So far the boys are looking good. Largely impressed with both Owen Muzondo and Wallace Mubaiwa in this tournament. Musekiwa has also looked good.

Marumani will keep getting chances until he fires. In ZC we trust. Same as Shumba and Madhevere 😅😅

Don’t understand why they wouldn’t give a game to Mufandauya, Falao and Welch.

Bit of a pointless tour for them

Mufudza just survived a plumb LBW and then was stumped off of it as well and not given

If Zim blocked out the next 5 overs and won this in the 19th over Nigeria would knock out Namibia on NRR.

Nice confidence boosting chase with a couple of not outs.

A big win, but the first 8 overs were thoroughly unconvincing with the bat. At one point Mufudza was about 3 off about 15. I think the pitch is not easy though.

Chasing a low total in such a conservative fashion is an almost pointless exercise and not a good warm up for Kenya. They're not going to change this team for the next game either, and if they get through Kenya there will be guys who haven't had a run the whole tournament. Begs the question why they didn't just go with 11 players and saved SRC some flights and accommodation and daily allowance cash.

The trick here is clearly to bowl first. Tough to tell what's a good score otherwise.

I see Lofty Eaton not in the Namibian side at all today?
Something has happened there.

Team has played well so far but the bench seriously could have been tried today. Zimbabwe now get the easier task of playing Kenya in the semis. Should fancy winning that and assuring a medal for themselves.
