This Tirapano Bloke seems to be quietly going about his job getting quite a lot of wickets. I have no idea how fast he is but has anyone seen him play and could he be a contender for national selection say as a reserve to payangara?

Haven't seen him bowl, but he has been doing a good job as a first-change bowler behind Shingi and Chatara for the last couple of seasons. He seems to struggel a bit, though, when the main guys are away and he has to lead the attack.

I think he is a solid domestic player but unlikely to take us anywhere internationally

Very tight from the Rocks but no breakthroughs yet.

Chatara injured his hand yesterday, according to John Ward's match report.
... hit an uppish drive very hard at mid-on, where Chatara dropped the catch and injured his hand so badly that he had to leave the field. He took no further part in the match and does not expect to be fit for the four-day match tomorrow.

Panyangara keeps it very tight indeed: 16-7-15-1. Mountaineers are biding their time, it seems. Tinashe can't keep himself on forever.
