The article says:
SOUTH Wilts have lost the services of Ryan Burl, their 20-year old spin all-rounder, who is to remain in his native Zimbabwe and try to progress his cricket career there.

Burl had hoped to be selected for the current Zimbabwe A tour to Bangladesh, but wasn’t picked.
Well, you can't just be picked unless you play some serious cricket in Zim, but may be a hope for the coming domestic season? Targeting World Cup selection may be? Just a tad too late in committing, I feel. Let us see how this develops...

Yeah I can't say it sounds like a smart decision for the young boy but great to see his patriotism to his country, I always noticed he was very vocal in letting people know his love for Zimbabwe I just hope his loyalty is repaid with a successful career for Zimbabwe ......

What's the status of some of the other young players around his age such as Lake, Bentley, Bell, Geyle, Bowie, Light and Odendaal? Are all these players studying in the UK or given the game away to pursue a working life? Also I thought Peacemore Zimwa was a promising spinner, anyone know what he is up to?
