If that happened to Zimbabwe there would be calls for our test status to be revoked.

Interesting stat: at 111 balls (18.3 overs), the Aussie 1st innings was the shortest completed first innings of a Test on record.

You know the drill. Voluntary withdrawal from Tests and 5 years rebuilding. :D

The Aussies are now in for a few hard years I think, with Clarke retiring, Haddin & Watson dropped plus Rogers also ready for retirement the four oldest players are all gone .....

Not even sure who will come in as Australia have a similar issue to Zimbabwe that the young batsman just arnt scoring enough runs domestically .....

Burns
Warner
Khawaja
Smith
S Marsh
M Marsh
Nevill
Johnson
Starc
Hazelwood
Lyon

Bowling still very strong with Pattinson and Cummins waiting in the wings but the batting is a massive concern .......

Jay, you're a native born Ozzie, right?

Where have Pattinson and Cummins been all this time? Cummins I know was injured after he made a Mustafizur like debut against the Saffers. But Patty had been doing very well in his early career. Bit surprising Starc and others got ahead of him. Didn't realize Hazlewood had done so well so far. Its probably time for MGJ to call time and give these young quicks their chance.

Yes Kriterion I'm Aussie born and breed .....

Cummins and Pattinson have struggled with injuries so much that Cummins has only a handful of first class matches and Pattinson has changed his bowling action .....

IMO Starc is a limited overs bowler he will take wickets in tests but they seem to always cost a lot of runs ......

Batting is our problem .....

Are Pattinson and Cummins still bowling quick? Do you reckon they will be stars for Australia for the next 10 years?

Yes both are still 145KPH and above bowlers both could be stars of the future and are both IMO better than Hazelwood, but injuries will decide how these two go ......
