Well its already gotten to that point. With the rise of franchise based tournaments. Eventually there will be market saturation, at least one hopes. The IPL and other big leagues will survive.

I think Test and even ODI cricket will just become niche sports. The upcoming leagues will inject real interest - but only in those fans who care about those formats already. Its not going to bring any new fans to the game, rather just keep the ones that would otherwise leave for T20 or some other sport.

As long as there are enough players who care about Test cricket, thats fine in my opinion.
