I think Elgar will do well in English conditions.

Well, the quotas of the T20 side have been awful. Bar Lungi Ngidi, which really bugs me as he's publicly stated that "people just need to accept transformation"

Phelukwayo basically lost them the game on Sunday, no runs and bowled so terribly that poor JJ Smuts was forced to bowl the last over of a t20.

Mosehle is simply so out of his depth it's quite scary as he shouldn't even be playing semi pro cricket. Every run he scores is sliced off the outside edge.

Phangiso has been quietly average as usual.

Parnell has been expensive and has done nothing with bat in hand. Such an arrogant guy, you can't help but hopes he gets smashed around.

Captain Fudge has been simply awful as far as captaincy goes. Decisions at key moments startle me. How do you put a guy like him as captain when Albie Morkel of a similar age is just neglected time and time again? Are you telling me that anyone in the world thinks Fugde is better than Morkel? He bats for his average too

Ngidi........what can u say here. Been less than impressive domestically with the 16th most wickets in the T20 Challenge coupled with an economy over 8. But he has torn the hapless Sri Lankans to bits. Very annoying. 6 decent overs has gotten him a call up to the ODI squad. You can guarantee he'll be there for a while.

Whose place is AB going to take?

Can someone clarify for me how Parnell qualifies as a 'coloured' player ?? Is it just cause he has turned to Islam and become a muslim ???

Ya I've heard poor reports about Parnell as well, but maybe since becoming religious he's a better guy. The coloured and Indian guys catching a free ride on this quota charade will get what's coming to them, they will be turned on at some point. It's a temporary convenient symbiotic relationship and will end poorly.
The white guys giving coaching clinics in the townships and making speeches about bringing cricket to the people is good in theory but all they're doing is teaching someone to replace them and their kids and that's the truth. Why would a sane person do that? There's no stopping until there's 3 whites in every representative team, anyone thinking otherwise is stupid, why hasten your own demise? It's just self preservation, don't help anyone who's going to turn on you. If AB gave a coaching clinic in a white squatter camp it would be the end of his Protea career. Unless you were Hendrik Verwoerd you have no obligation to make amends for the sins of the forefathers. The system is clever, whites will still be apologising in a hundred years time. Why aren't the Zulus being made to pay reparations for killing and displacing millions of people and there's ample evidence of this. What they did makes apartheid look tame. Ntini should be giving free coaching to the Mashonaland Eagles his ancestors terrorised. There's two sets of rules in play. Ngidi gets a fancy Hilton education and the best coaching and makes a comment like that? The dummies keep apologising and keep helping as well. Look after your own and respect everybody. Peace.

After his 'performances' for Sussex I think I'll pass on any comment about Parnell

Another couple of kolpak signings today as Dane Vilas joins Lancashire for 2 years, that young lad Chanderpaul also joins them for 1 year

Total of 7 whites have gone Kolpak.

SA most likely going the way of Zim...just slower. Maybe 10 years from now they will be fighting to qualify for the world cup.

Yes, I also think the same. The talent drain has already started.
