Maybe this explains the mediocrity
Well they did just beat Australia in a Test. And they got some bonuses for that and the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy. The BD players make most of their money 70% or more in the case of Shakib from BPL, DPL, and foreign T20 leagues.

But yes, they are still not as well paid as ZIM players in terms of board central contracts.
Was going to say they've done well this year the Tigers

Surely these Bangladesh attacks are not deserving of international cricket right now.

And it was a road and Bangladeshi batsmen should have posted another 80 runs. And Proteas are a formidable side.

This was probably the worst bowling pwrformance of all time. Certainly the biggest total chased down without losing a wicket.

Bowling has been terrible since the Champions Trophy.

Still doesn't answer the question of depth

Aiden Markram faces proper bowling for the first time since Bangladesh rudely interrupted his testing domestic cricket schedule.

He falls for 67 to Muthusamy. Same SA Emerging spinner ZIM faced recently.

Define "international quality"?

Our player depth is more or less the same as what Pakistan (especially batting), SL (especially bowling), WI have at the moment. Do you consider them to be international quality?
