The Dutch will take the final spot in the new 13 team ODI league. If we look at it by regions we have 5 teams from Asia, 3 from Europe, 2 from Africa, 2 from Oceania, and 1 from the Americas.

HAppy for the Dutch despite the fact they don’t produce many local players they’ve been a good friend to Zimbabwe Cricket

Who do you think Zimbabwe cricket's best friends have been?

I always think New Zealand has been particularly helpful, when there's really nothing for them to gain from doing so.

India have been sending their A team since 2010 in return for a guaranteed vote. the only time it backfired was this year when the ICC financial model passed 9-1 with even the ZC going against the Indians which of course made pariah flip out.

India has actually been quite helpful to BD (of course for another guaranteed vote) but with full tours in 2004, 2007, 2010, and other tours in 2015 and an A team tour in 2014...they've brought significant cash for the BCB.

ZIM best friends would have to be the Kiwis or the Aussies.

Id gamble Netherlands would be more consistent internationally than current Zim/Ire teams at ODI.

Barresi, Myburgh, Cooper, Ten Doeschate, Van Der Merwe, O'Dowd, Borren is a steady batting line up.

Throw in Tom Cooper and that's a good side.

Bowling could let them down but Van Der Gugten and Seelar's numbers are very good. Van Der Merwe has the knack - Kingma largely untried though.

Similar to the current Ireland set up though who takes over from Myburgh, Barresi, Ten Doeschate, Van Der Merwe, Borren in 2-3 years

I am conflicted, on one hand Tom Cooper would strengthen the Dutch team, but the Redbacks still need him for Sheffield Shield cricket.

They would hammer Streak's Zimbabwe, but Panyangara would slice through them like a knife through butter!

Panyangara doesn't slice butter. He prolly swallows the entire stick in one fluid motion.
