History will be made on Sunday when Ireland play their first ever Test against Pakistan, I really hope they go well.

Yeah we could really use a solid Irish effort.

If Ireland and Afghanistan get beaten badly I doubt many other sides will be lining up to play them

I doubt many will be lining up to play them regardless of the results to be honest.

Historic day...congrats to any Irish fans who might be reading this!

Ireland and Afghanistan will get some fixtures against WI, BD, SL and maybe PAK as well. The top 5 nations won't be playing them in the current FTP cycle, but hopefully will play them in the next one. At least PAK and IND have stepped up to play them in their debut matches. The lack of leadership from ENG and AUS is disappointing thus far.

Hmmmmm not good for the Irish, really let the game slip and now the batting has let them down, is this a 4 day match? maybe they can hold on for a draw ?

Wow, blown away. Need to avoid innings defeat at least.
