Seems to be doing well for Gloucs. http://content-www.cricinfo.com/countyc ... 19953.html
3/33 in the first innings, 3/76 in the second. Should be enough to retain his place in the team.

Re: Anthony Ireland
Never doubted his talent. Just a shame he's clocking up the wickets for Gloucestershire instead of Zimbabwe...

Re: Anthony Ireland
Can't help but think how formidable this bowling line up would look: Ireland, Rainsford, Chigumbura, Brent, Price and Utseya. Very much a possibility. Hope this becomes a reality in the near future...

Anthony Ireland who is 24 years old is a young and talented bowler with the experience of playing English county cricket for Gloucestashire. He has played 26 ODIs for Zimbabwe and taken 38 wickets with an average of 29.34 and best figure 3/41.
I hope he will be back soon in the Zimbabwean line up when an unpolitical line up is made.
A pace bowlling battery of Ireland,Blignaut,Mupariwa,Rainsford with backups like Panyangara,Mpofu,Mahwire is really world class!!!!
