The Pakistan ODI Squad has been recently announced for the up and coming series against England starting in September.
Here's the squad:
Squad: Shahid Afridi (capt), Salman Butt, Shahzaib Hasan, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Yousuf, Azhar Ali, Umar Akmal, Kamran Akmal, Fawad Alam, Abdul Razzaq, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir, Umar Gul, Saeed Ajmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Wahab Riaz.
Reserves: Sarfraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Irfan, Abdur Rehman.
Now I think it's fair to say that there's a few surprise faces in this squad. I think the man who's surprised me the most was the inclusion of a certain Shoib Akhtar. He's been drafted back into the squad, beefing up Pakistan's pace bowling attack even more.
Fawad Alam and Mohammed Haffeez have also been included in place of the out of form Shoib Malik and Imran Farhat.

I've not included Asif in my 11 because when ever I've seen him play in the shorter Format he's struggled due to a lack of pace. I'd much prefer to see a bowling attack with some serious pace from Akhtar, Gul and Ammir
