The big question is can England win another Test or draw two, to make this a drawn series? If that happens I think Australia and NZ qualify for the Final (???).
I think they can, they are oozing with confidence, surely they've got the payers to do this again.
Where is Jos Buttler?
Rested. He will be back for the ODIs and T20s. Baristow will be back from the 3rd test.

Poor pitch, poor batting as well and I think pink ball made it even more difficult.

Didn't like the match at all, no point winning like this, but then I'm one of those guys who actually loves this game more than anything else... Most of the Indian fans are gladly taking it.

Well a win is a win. Both teams batted and bowled on the same pitch. England could just as easily have won on the minefield but they didn't.

That was such a poor pitch, could've easily backfired for India.

England batted first and still lost. When Joe Root takes 5 for 8 against a side like India it tells you all you need to know about the pitch.

If Stokes could have just blasted a couple of run a ball 50s, you think England would have had a sniff. Or Buttler.

Agreed, valid points. Still not a good pitch but then again England have been completely clueless, except for Root. They were getting out to straight balls, and making no attempt to force the initiative or take the attack to India.

Cook, KP on same track could have got some runs, even the fact that England went in with just 1 spinner shows how poorly they read the pitch. Monty Panesar and Graeme Swann of 2012 attack would have run through India on this track.

From day one of the pink ball I could see that it is heavily heavily bowler friendly to the point it’s a mockery.
Why do we still persist?

Also throughout my life I have known India prepare stupid biased pitches. Again. Why’s it allowed?
We need equally prepared pitches as best as can be done. It’s clear at this point it’s just about making indian pitches Indian friendly as just a winning tactic. This then forces 9 other countries to adopt the same method under necessity.

Even the pitches in Australia and England are very India friendly when the Indians tour. 2 matches will be played on turning wickets per series.
