SA v Kenya ODIs

Post by maehara »

Keeping one eye on these as an upset would put Zim down to the bottom of the ODI rankings - and Kenya are off to a decent start - 13/1 with the early loss of Hashim Amla. Nice scalp for Ongondo.

Kenya aren't disgracing themselves, but South Africa have a few wickets in hand still. Watch out for Boucher in the last 15 overs, memories of his big hundred against Zimbabwe still hurt.

Why is Botha captain for SA? For the experience? I'd give it to Kallis, Boucher, Gibbs, de Villiers or either Morkel if it is based on merit alone, but I'm guessing there's more to it?

Yeah, a few more early wickets would have been nice - at the moment SA are looking set for 300+, barring collapses. Still, Kenya are at least in the game.

Waters batting well at the moment for Kenya. Seems to be quite a find.

I have a feeling Malcolm Waller would be Zimbabwe's "wildcard", not as if he will ever get the chance though
