NZ in India

Post by Jemisi »

The thing that really scares me about NZ in India is what a mess they made of us. Now they have gone to the WI and performed poorly and look like losing by an innings in the first test. I shudder when I think of what that means for Zim.

I think our guys got a bit of a shock playing in NZ conditions.

At home, we should have beat NZ in that Test match.

I think at the moment we would fare better in India/SL than let's say in England or NZ. At least we would have a potent spinner in Cremer (with Pricey sealing up the other end) while NZ presently only have Patel.

One also has to take into account that NZ without Dan Vettori is only half the team, and NZ have never handled spin well. I haven't watched the match, but it seems Zaheer was only used to take the shine off the ball.

Ok guys, I will take that on board. I hope you are right.

But we'd be unlikely to hold India to leass than 450 and could easily produce a pair of 160s, eh?
