No good can come from quotas, especially at national level.

I am not against quotas entirely, but at national level they make little sense to me. I can understand them at club and domestic level, particularly if prejudices exist that prevent certain players getting selected in the first place. But for the national side, everyone has to be there on merit. I still wonder if the Zimbabwean side has a quota system. If you analyse the lineups you notice there is never more than a certain number of white players in the side.

But Vusi, Hami, Mpofu, Taibu, Mawoyo, Vitori, have all been there on merit. Only Ncube's inclusion last year was a question mark in this area.
