Ireland robbed by their own

Post by CrimsonAvenger »

England beat Ireland yesterday, with a hundred by Morgan and a 4 wicket haul for Rankin leading the way. Two Irishmen doing what would have amounted to treason in earlier ages, plotting their own country's downfall...

Ballance got out for a duck though. How long before Ballance and Jarvis combine to do that against us? Or will it be Hick vs Brandes revisited? :)

The boos rang out at Malahide, from what I hear.
Sooner Ireland get Test status, the better.

Must admit I sniggered at Ballance's little cameo. Disastrous enough to sink his chances of a *real* England callup, perhaps?

Carberry was booed mercilessly. Any England misfield was cheered.

Also, Morgan only gave a wave towards his dressing room on reaching his 50. In contrast, Bopara saluted all the crowd upon reaching his own 50.

You can gauge the Irish fans' reaction towards English by this article -

It is so rude for Rankin and Morgan to do that to Ireland. Give Ireland proper status.

well, if they are economic migrants...'n all!
ire will move along quickly if they get status as they will surely benefit from England's nearlies/couldves...like Murtagh...as well as attract other ex-colonials while they build up and establish resouces
