Post by jaybro » Thu Apr 02, 2015 10:47 am

Just saw this in a Chris Gayle interview, the former Zimbabwe coach spent 8 years as the Irish coach probably the longest tenure in world cricket atm ......

Has Ireland appointed a new coach ??

Can Simmons get the Windies to perform consistently ??

Nope. They've advertised the post, though.

The advantage he had with Ireland, is that the players cared and always felt they had something to prove. West Indies players I don't think have either of those. It'll be interesting to see what Simmons can get out of them, give that...
