It was postponed due to the BPL, not wet weather. It will resume later this month for the last 3 rounds I think.

Kriterion_BD, what's your opinion of Stuart Law as a coach when he coached Bangladesh?

He was around for a very short time...less than a year I believe. Hence I cannot really comment.

First real Test coming up for BD. Havent played an away series since 2014 when they were thrashed by the Windies in all formats.

Mustafiz is back from his shoulder surgery...will have to see how long it takes to get his form back and if he can get his pace back.

Okay thanks. He's set to become the coach of WI it seems.

Best of luck to Bangladesh for the upcoming away series.

Another shocking and disgraceful collapse to lose a 2nd consecutive seried loss. We should be winning these ODIs from dominant positions.

Lots of mental regression going on here.

Can't believe how one season has changed the fortunes completely for Soumya Sarkar. I thought he was one of the rising stars of world cricket. Bangladeshis keep disappointing. I had high hopes of Rajin Saleh, Aftab Ahmed and Nasir Hossain earlier too...

Nasir Hossain hasn't been given a decent run in the side, and the times he has, he's done OK I believe. Still averages over 30+ in both formats. Nasir did well enough in his last game vs England but then gets dropped. Same issue with Rubel now.

Soumya is a pure talent, he may not be consistent but we should be able to accomodate him in a lineup with Tamim, Shakib, Mushfiq, Sabbir, and Mahmudullah.

Well that was a underwhelming series. Only positives are that Nurul Hasan showed some potential with the bat, as he is widely rated to be the best WK in the country. And of course Mustafizur slowly getting his groove back. 4 wickets at around 24 with an econ rate of under 5 is very good in NZ. Was only bowling around 125 click in the first game, but by the 3rd match started clocking 130-135. I am hoping by the time the Tests start, he should be totally fit and bowling around the 140 mark again.

I see Australia are looking at fulfilling the commitment to Bangladesh by touring their(all being good) in 2017( after the tour was cancelled in 2015). They are talking around August/September. However, according to the FTP, Bangladesh are to tour Australia around that time.
So in the 17/18 year, Bangladesh host Pakistan, home & away to Australia, tour South Africa, host Sri Lanka & then tour the Windies. All full test tours.
What a bumper season, if all goes ahead!
