...and in the final group match, Afghanistan trounced Kenya. Not that it really mattered. :)

Afghanistan in the final with Scotland. And the only side that Afghanistan didn't beat was... Zimbabwe XI. :D

:lol: That was largly down to Vusi Sibanda. I think he was going through his golden streek of scoring big hundreds at the time in first class cricket. And it was the first class debut of Kyle Jarvis :D

Congratulations to Afghanistan, the newly crowned Intercontinental Cup champions. They deserve it after their solid performances which started against Zim XI.

..and in the Intercontinental Shield, Namibia beat UAE by six wickets, reinforcing the fact that Namibia should have been in the Cup anyway.

Good 2nd-innings fightback by UAE, considering they were bowled out for 79 in the first, but not good enough.
