Planned tour to Pakistan?gargamel wrote:Mutombodzi and Haider lead the fightback for the HMCA Eagles in a game that came to life thanks to some inspired bowling by Thabo Mboyi. Mboyi reduced the Capital outfit from 62 for no loss to 75 for 3 with the scalps of Chibaba, Chikabva and Burl. Fight back was lead intially by Waller and Mutombodzi who played a captains innings and must feel dissapointed by throwing away a 100. Mutombodzi short ball short commings once again costing him much deserved hundred under the watchful eye of Taibu who had picked his short commings. Rizwan Haider who is set to leave for the UK next week showed his class and experience as he batted comfortably and showed great technique againts the Tuskers spinners something our batsman will need to learn on the planned tours to Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

we are touring Pakistan again? I guess they will be throwing money around again. I think its a reasonable relationship that we could use to our advantage if the players are comfortable with it and it looks like they are if they put their hands up for the t20 final. another quick fire ODI series wouldn't hurt anybody or maybe a once off test match on that flat pitch.we could get a draw.

A bit of a struggle but Rhinos have got past the follow on point thanks to Musakanda, Moor, Chisoro and Madziva, it's just a shame that nobody has taken advantage of getting set, I assume because the wicket is not exactly one for a run scoring bonanza
It seems that Rhinos now have their very own Chigumbura, Nyathi doesn't bowl and hides himself down the batting order, his performances over the last year have been abysmal and should not be taking up a place in the side let alone as captain

Play called off for the day, lightning around and dark.
Wicket is a road now but batsmen not capitalising. I'm not sure what Mountaineers are up to, looks like they are batting out for a draw! Not great for the game if that's what they are up to.
Nyathi dislocated his finger in the first innings and dropped down the order to hear from the doctor. He was going to go in at 11 but insisted he wanted to bat. The shot he played to get out was really poor though, even considering the circumstances.

For what it's worth, statistically, Hamilton Masakadza is the first to 5000 runs in the Logan Cup. He always seems to play Logan Cup when not on international duties, unlike some others.
