The west indies have the talent but the lack of experience is going to be their downfall. i see them in the qualifiers. they are the kind of team to beat Pakistan in a test like they just did but drop valuable points against Afghanistan next month. in fact i cant wait till they tour us in a few months. i think its going to be a tight contest as shown when they were here last year. one of the few occasions where we were the more experienced team and it actually showed. will never forget pat symcox pointing out their inexperience just before they collapsed in that tied game.

I used to feel for Bangladesh but they have kind of neglected us of late despite all the support we used to show each other but as it stands im confident they will qualify automatically

While Cricinfo has been clueless about indicating William Mashinge in the playing XI, the U19 kids have done pretty well with the ball against the full strength Canada side so far. Connolly and Roche very impressive.

Malcolm Williams, has got allround talent like his cousin Sean Williams, maintained some tight line against the Canadians.

Great to see Under 19s working on all round abilities.

This shumba lad looks like the real deal. A 16 year old lad approaching his century against a full strength Canada littered with first class experience and considerably older than himself

Yeah, pretty good knock by Shumba by the looks of it. Roche always chipping in too. Exactly why Mashinge is still in the country and not in the UK is a mystery!

Very disappointing bowling effort so far, a loss to Canada would really be another all time low ......

Gosh we're in strife here I reckon, Rizwan Cheema could take us apart here and set a decent total .....
